Humans give me headache

This world has rotten from within its core, 

Perhaps cause everything's "not too deep".

But by bones and flesh, even my soul is sore, 

From humans being such an apathetic, evil creeps. 

You say " That's how the world works", 

No it does not. It's not even close, 

Maybe I should take an astronomical amount of dose-

Then I wouldn't feel my heart sinking into pits. 

We are nothing but disgrace to earth, 

But ofc they're too busy burning her alive. 

This is nothing but a society built from wrath, 

Where souls die everyday just to survive. 

Just to fit in, we murder our spark, 

Just to have a secure future, we watch ourselves die, 

The dreams hang by the throat in the dark, 

And this flesh is exposed to the monochrome sky. 

The city's filled with egregious liars, 

Or should I call it - the government. 

No they do not care for us, 

Their hearts and minds, it's deliberately vacant. 

And maybe indifference is just another fast fashion, 

Cause honey "it's not that deep". 

Oh when will this absurdity just end? 

Perhaps when we grace our last sleep.
