are people out of touch with reality

i think back to something i realized a long time ago: that there are some people who are so out of touch that they are practically alien. they still talk and eat and sleep like normal human beings but have either little to no social skills (empathy, kindness, discussion skills) that interacting with them is impossible/ extremely frustrating. ive trained myself to look for these kind of people when im in a new social space, for the sole reason of never interacting with them when i have to. i think more people should too
