weekend, work, mini-weekend

went to my dads house on saturday and stayed the night so we could watch football both days. saturday was the huskies and sunday was the seahawks. huskies crushed UC Davis 70-10 but the hawks lost 17-13. oh well, good game regardless. now that the huskies are a part of the "big 10" and not the "pac-12" anymore that means our civil war rivalry (WSU and UW) isn't played on thanksgiving weekend anymore, and it sucks. just feels like a regular old game now. and now i can't even have a football party with my friends anymore. damn.

speaking of, i've been trying to plan an in-state trip to visit my friends in college at their campus, but the budget is gonna be sooooo tight even just to get me the bus ticket. my plan is to spend as little money as possible and pick up as many extra shifts as i can so that i'll be able to a. go, and b. enjoy myself. i've been making this trip annually since my friends started school since i was the only one who started working straight away. i'm gonna ask my other college friends up here if they can make the trip with me and drive up there. they never see them so it'll be like high school where were all together again (and i save myself $200 on a greyhound ticket).

monday and today i worked. nothing really crazy happened besides getting more free food and drink. tomorrow i have a day off, taekwondo class, and some miscellaneous errands to run. a friend in the local scene is having a birthday show that i'm going to on saturday so i'm excited for that. and sunday im going back to my dads to watch the seahawk game. now that my brothers are back at their moms a few states out i try and see my dad more often. i know he's lonely without them at the house again, and i know i'm lonely without them (and my college friends) too.
