can we please start normalizing putting ages in our status? i dont use this site for dating, only fashion and shared interest, but i dont rlly want to talk to 14 yr olds as a 21 yr old person :| im okay w chatting w 17, maybe 16 but thats pushing it. even if im just talking about fashion or music, something about it doesnt feel right, idk if that makes sense. i think its dope that yall want to be a part of the scene tho!!! i just dont want to be the old friend or b in a younger friend group :/ i try to do my part but its hard to make friends when ppl arent up front abt it.

so true and relatable, yet sadly ive noticed that even with my age on my profile and saying 18+ only multiple times i still get 14 year olds requesting me randomly. i guess sometimes people dont really read profiles?

Let's normalize having an age on your profile in general, not just status! I'm 17, it's clearly written on my profile, I want to see the age of people that friend me as I'm not gonna talk to someone below certain age. To be completely honest, I think "Minor!" Pisses me off more than no age on profile. Like yeah, you're a minor, but are you 13 or 17?? Same with "adult" are you 18 or 36???
But what really made me angry was one RP account I saw! In status? 25! In about me? 25! But you read further, and at the end of about me in brackets - "RP account. I'm a minor." ????? LIKE. NO WORDS. Sure, silly RP stuff! Nevermind that it's one mention of it at the very end and everywhere else there's 25. Nevermind that you never clarified it right by your age. It's not "25 (RP, I'm a minor btw)". No, that's too much. You have: "I'm 25! SOMETHING SOMETHING SOMETHING (RP! I'm a minor)" MY FUCKING GOD!
(sorry for ranting, just irritated at the lack of ages on ppl's profiles)
