“To Sleep In A Sea Of Stars”: A great Sci-fi Novel

I’ve been reading this book by Christopher Paolini, and am very impressed. It takes place on a distant planet where the main character, a xenobiologist, stumbles upon alien technology during a routine survey mission. As an interstellar alien conflict rages, she works to end the conflict, while the UN military is trying to capture her at every turn.

I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’ll say it involves nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, FTL space travel, and interesting alien races with odd communication methods. This book is excellent science fiction, and an engaging page-turner full of imaginative ideas.
