BERDLY BEST CHARACTER

BERDLY IS THE BEST CHARACTER AND HERES WHY. (Ok he might not be the best but he is my favourite)

1. He is a gamer, he is awesome and he doesn’t cheat like Kris

2. He is smart (like actually). He thinks he is not, because feels like he depends on Noelle to do anything. But we see that he is the one that comes up with the rescue plan, on his own. He could have solved the puzzles, but he was feeling too nervous and pressured by susie and Lancer.

3. He actually cares for Noelle. Maybe in the normal route we can’t really see it until the lesbian route (the ferris wheel), but if we take a look at the snow grave route, Berdly sees that Noelle is not ok and drops his smart, condescending act and actually locks in, trying to save Noelle (didn't end up very well for him)

4. Respects Kris’ pronouns. In NO point Berdly mistreats Kris for their gender, and he always refers to them as Them (which is a better ratio that a lot of people in the fandom)

5. Actually has (a little) character development. At the start, Berdly is condescending towards everyone. He feels superior (or makes it look like that) and thinks that he’s the best. But after being tricked by Queen and humbled by Kris at puzzles, he opens up and after susie saying that no one cares if he is stupid, he feels validated and he decides to change for the better. When he interacts with Noelle, he decides to face her and apologise about him leading her on (EVEN IF NOELLE NEVER- EVER THOUGHT OF HIM THAT WAY). After he is freed by the group, he thanks them and is ready to fight by their side on the spot. If he is not freed, he himself rips the plug off of him and fries his arm in the process. Either way, he bravely defies Queen, and even if after he mistakes susie trying to listen for her trying to kiss him, it seems to be a common trope for him, for he also mistook Noelle’s kindness and Kris’ repeated check on him for love. And after, even if he is a bit more condescending (again), he is better than he was in chapter 1 and the start of 2

6. He’s an expert ragebaiter. Like come on, that’s his entire personality. And (almost) every Berdly hater fell for the ragebait. Haha, I love this stupid fucking bird

7. That’s literally me when younger. Not a genius, has one good thing and is turned into golden child, the pressure gets to you and you lose it all. Man, he is so awesome (and now that I say it, he reminds me of spamton)
