Drew these on a sticky note at the DMV. I was helping my sister run some new car errands. I meant to post these a while back, shown by the date, but forgot. (Click to open image links)
My sister says I draw fast, but I think that's because I don't pay mind to detail in doodles like these. Since I take heavy inspiration from Quentin Blake (known for illustrating for Roald Dahl), I noticed that when he draws, he keeps his lines simple, but communicative, and emphasizes shape and silhouette language. I try to apply that to my art, and I think drawing in pen really helps with that, because I cannot erase any mistakes I make.
