Note: I listed them by platform.
Some might be listed under a specific platform while they're not, here are the reasons :
- It's mainly due to personal preferences or because sometimes the game was clearly privileged for a platform than another (example: Burnout 3 and Revenge, which were clearly developed for the PS2 despite they exist on Xbox).
- It can also be due to a game being wildly different from a platform to another (typical example: Harry Potter games)
- Because of those two reasons, you can see a same game appear twice on different platforms

- Windows "legacy" is all 32 bits versions of x86 Windows (NT and often 9x as well)
- Windows "modern" is 64 bits and version 10 minimum
- A Mac is a PC ("personal computer") made by Apple and will be part of this category if I somehow find a game specifically made for Mac OS that I end up liking

I love the PS3 lineup you had! If I can offer you some recommendations, the Persona series is a great way to get started. Persona 1 and 2 are very fun and challenging gameplay with great stories. While the later entries (3 -5) have fun social aspects to them, with an easier but more refined gameplay style. My personal favorite is Persona 4 (PS2) due to the ambiance, and the party members are my favorite among the whole series.

If you haven't played any already, GBA pokemon games are amazing! If you start with any of those you will have the best perspective on what pokemon games should be. the GBA also has great ports of the super nintendo era mario games, that's what i started with when I was really young. Also doom isn't worth playing on ps1, just play it on pc lol, you will have a much better time. also try any of the metal gear solid games! they're really good
Already played Doom on PC (kinda) xD
I wanted to have a look at the PS1 version precisely because the port was apparently good, especially considering they had to adapt the game to fit the PS1's configuration.
I never watched or played Pokémon, it always has been on my to-do list D:

you should try tekken, there's at least 1 installment for every playstation 1-5.
the best one is usually said to be tekken 5 but tekken 4 is my personal favorite ^_^
I'm taking note of that, though I didn't plan to ever play to the PS5 as there's not really a reason to for me (pretty much ever games for it have a Windows version). It's just a restricted PC (like the PS4, but worse xD).

You'll only miss out on Tekken 8 which is kinda mediocre :P
The best ones are on the older PS systems, the ones I mentioned are on the PS2 so easy to emulate :D

harry potter and the chamber of secrets was one I played when i was really smol, I liked it, considering i have remembered it for all these years. I would like to revisit the game one day if I get my hands on an emulator again, or better yet maybe a ps2 and a functional copy.
Get PCSX2 and just play it :D
But the PS2 version, despite being amazing, is poorly optimised. So it's better if you have a somewhat decent or recent computer

I do run a pretty good setup now, 5 years ago was laughable, but my power has exponentially grown since then. i used that emulator to play shadow of the colossus, fun times.

I actually started the Wind Waker a few days ago :D
(but have seen the game for ages)

ratchet and clank for the ps4 is a banger and a half
Yeah it seems to be actually a great remake of the first game, and that the story is good if you take it from Qwark's perspective (so an unreliable source) instead of taking it as a reboot.
