I FINALLY GOT A JOB!!

To start off, sorry for not being too active these last couple of days, I've been fighting some personal battles lol. 

I've been having such a hard time finding a job, but at 1am a couple days ago, I got the whole Amazon email of seasonal hiring woaaaaah!! I'm so stupidly excited! 

My biggest worry though is working overnight. I work later evening to early morning which, I mean, it's okay! I'm relieved my shift doesn't start early morning cause I am NOOOOT a morning person :')) But I'm also pretty nervous.

I chatted with my friend about my worry about working nights and she was like "!!! That's awesome, I'm so jealous".

I'm a very outdoorsy person and I knoooow that I can still go out and be social on my days off and before my shifts, but I'm still a little nervous! I think I'll be very tired right in the beginning lol! Since my job is gonna be pretty physically demanding compared to my job as a barista before. 

Which, speaking of!! TLDR: I went back to take care of my mom in Denmark, was gona for 2 months, job said it was fine and that I would still have a job when I got home, I return, "oh we currently don't have any offers for you, also, you're an inactive employee now", "okay, cool, so when can I work again?", "We'll get back to you ig", I send them like 5 emails asking for a follow-up in the span of 2 weeks, no reply.

Caught up? Okay, good! 

But what the hell! I was chatting with my coworker from there about it and she was like "That's super shady cause now you can't apply for unemployment and blergh, it's so gross.

Either way, I'm just happy to have a job now! I met someone at my pre-hire appointment who, turns out, is gonna be working same shifts as me! He was super chill, so I'm feeling pretty positive. I hope I'll be able to find some comfort in my new job. I've been struggling so much with feeling okay in a job, I hope it stays this way. I'm being paid pretty good, so that's really nice, but man, I just wanna feel better.
