ORIGIN

Cloudy the Clown was created during my obsession with the movie terrifier and clowns. After I saw Art the Clown for the first time, I fell in love. During this time, I was in PHP and at PHP, I did not like it. Every second I felt angry. I made Cloudy during activity time, the time after therapy and lunch where we all do a therapeutic activity. I was drawing clowns on a piece of paper, one of them being Cloudy. I sadly do not have the original piece of Cloudy but I DO have one really old drawing of cloudy that you can see later in the blog!! Cloudy was made in September of 2024 and has changed a lot since her first ever appearance!!

FACTS

- Cloudy is anti killer clown. She thinks that clowns should be nice to children and to not hurt them in any way

- the reason why she's a sad clown is because her job is to show love to unhappy kids and show them that she understands and cares about them instead of just making kids happy all the time. She wants them to know that it's okay to be sad.

- she likes the morute / gloomy coquette aesthetic a lot.

- her favorite artist is either bambi baker or sophie woodhouse

- shes not the best at being funny but she tries to be

- Cloudy is scared of blood

LORE

Hannah Love, known as Cloudy the Clown is a 16 year old girl born and raised in Texas, USA. Her parents, Don and Linda Love never treated Hannah right. By the age of 10, Hannah developed MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) her parents weren't understanding, saying that she should go outside, clean her room, or do hygiene because it 'wasn't that hard'. Her parents always told her that she shouldn't be sad, that nothing is happening in her life to be sad. 

When Hannah turned 13, she found the world of clowns online. She adored the thought of someone making little kids happy as someone's life goal. That's all she wanted was to be happy. She spent most of her time planning a clown character. The more she looked into clowns, the more happy she felt. By the age of 14, she found sad clowns. Clowns who are the opposite of the clowns she imagined. "Who would like this?" she thought, but then she wondered, "What if I could be a sad clown?". A clown who tells kids that it's okay to be sad, that's all she ever wanted to hear. She felt comforted by the thought of sad clowns. She scraped her original clown and made a new one.

When Hannah was 15, she finally finished her clown character. She just needed a name. Her original clown character was named Sunny. She came up with the name Cloudy, the opposite of Sunny. When Hannah put on the costume, she felt happy. She's now Cloudy.
