what baffles me about AI use

is that its such a recent development, you cannot convince me that it has fundamentally improved your life in any way that you could not have done yourself with a bit more hard work

like. i also honestly dont know how long chatgpt or copilot, etc, have been around. but i doubt anyone was using it 2 years ago. and now all my teachers are telling me to start utilising it for my class notes, revision & essays. brother. as if we haven't coped perfectly fine for hundreds of fucking years.

our parents were going to school and doing all this stuff without even google

im so beyond sick of hearing and talking about AI

ik its great for some things in the areas of science and whatever, but not for the ordinary person's everyday use.
