hey ladies and gentleman (and in between or none), this is a big ass post about the story i've been working on for around a year or so; this big post will be separated in categories and subcategories.

• ꕤ world's settings

the story follows between the late LATE 2000' to the early 2010's (something more 2011, but i'm still deciding which year, tho); its pretty much centered in London. the main places presented will be the police office, the police as an organization. charlotte's house, mall, and charlotte's personal office;

• ꕤ main plot of the story

charlotte is a well-sucessful detective in London. she solves most cases and is fairly respected for being considered a genius for her age - for further information, but it will be presented in her profile later, she's freshly twenty-eight. the biggest plot is: she's just as good in creating cases. she has this morbid, bloody fascination with death. her killing doesn't have any reasons behind it. she does it for the sake of her own pleasure; her murders are like sacred rituals, something almost holy.

in the same plot-line, she meets ayane. a smart and scarily talented fifteen year old who suffers with the same 'curse'. they meet because they both got the "the jugdement day is coming" on top of their heads. the mystical part will be explained further in this post.

nationality: japanese (born in japan, but is fluent-ish in english since she came to england pretty young);

lore: killed her parents accidentally during a gun fight that happened. she was around thrirteen when she shot her parents, the person that started the gunfight inside a fucking restaurant, and another random. her obsession for the concept of death mostly started there - but even before, she'd pick up sticks and analyze dead animals' bodies that she found; has a big brain.

job: works at a record shop downtown, also do some gigs of his band (Evening Fatale) but it isn't his main income;

lore: raised in america by his mom; when he was twelve he moved with his mom in England, so she could get her "new beggining" after not living an exactly healthy relationship with his biological dad. she gor married, had michael for a 'new begging' in fresh air with a new partner. joseph moved back to america at twenty so he could follow his dreams - got dragged back to england to take care of his newer (and orphan) younger brother;

Mystical Concept

the judgers.

in the mythology, - in this story, i'm almost 1000 percent sure they do not exist in actual mythology - judgers are described by "sinners punished by god". 

in their past life, they'd judge people and judge god's decisions. god became fed up with it, providing them their due karma: jugde forever. they remember their life before they die, and they can either judge who goes to 'heaven' and 'hell', or judge people by providing them karma. after some thousand years, god forgot them. they have their own democracy, and have a society according to their will and desires. you can become a judger by signing a blood and soul contract with the 'big lawyer'.

they remember their past life mostly to give them even more whiplash from their actions - having to judge their loved ones, or feel a sense of sympathy that can be dangerous in such occupation.

if they judged people by their appearance, or things by their vision in general, they will be blind.

if they judged people or things by sounds, they will be deaf;

if they judged people or things out loud, they will be mute;

all of them have broken wings to remind them that they could be great people if they didn't commit the sin of judge. they have the angelical appearance usually represented by older paintings of angels: soft skin, calm apperance.. but unlike angels, they feel eerie rather than conforting.

- michael's connection with them:

michael was an average fourteen year old. aenor, his personal judger, seeing his young and, mostly, lack of sins, decided to give him the option to die, or sign a contract to keep living. she just didn't told him he'd live forever, and neither told him he had to judge his loved ones - charlotte, ayane (that he didn't know in this timeline) joseph, colleagues at school - and if he didn't, his soul would never be free. 

How do the main cast meet?

charlotte firstly meets william when she enters her job, rowan getting in a few years later. 

charlotte meets ayane in a park. they both already had corrupted souls, and had the "the judgement day is coming" mark at the top of their heads, visible just for other ones with it also. they reach out for each other, and mayers feel a sense of deep connection to the younger girl. 

joseph reaches out to charlotte, knowing her reputation in the town, after his little brother had gone missing out of the blue. mecris dropped him out on school, and his brother never came home again. charlotte visibly notices his physical ressemblance with the 'missing unidentified dead body' that caused a fuzz in the police department. it had just vanished, and to make things even more puzzled, nobody except the investigators of the case had acess to the body; and ayane had commented that she had seen the same boy on the mall some days ago.

they eventually find michael and go down deep into the supernatural world; having to hide their kills, sacrifices, and connection to the spiritual from the most talented investigators of the country - william and rowan.

Relationships

(the ones that i didn't put here, they simply barely exist, or just don't exist at all)

ayane-charlotte: a hint of grooming by charlotte's part, but neither of them seem to notice it. they see each other in each other, and feel like they are direct mirrors of one another. this sense of connection make them create an almost parental relationship, and stupid decisions for one another.

ayane-joseph: both of them seem to enjoy each other's company. they share the same passion in music and creativity. both of them relate to one another a lot, creating a sibling-like bond.

ayane-michael: pseudo-romantic. they are both teens, spend a lot of time together, kill together, go to the same school - it's only expected. but they don't get themselves in an actual relationship. strongest feelings are from michael's part.

charlotte-joseph: complicated. they feel admiration for each other, hint of feelings underneath everything, but overrall they RELATE to each other a lot. despite different mindsets, they have the same ideologies. further on the story, both of them become more manipulative and toxic to each other. since they both can't do that to the kids, they are basically isolating themselves, the frustration and expectations come incredibly high on each other.

charlotte-michael: charlotte thinks michael's a nice kid. michael likes her a lot, but also sorta fear her. they have a nice relationship despite not being THAT close - still close, tho. they often play chess together, and charlotte often listens to his rants. 

charlotte-rowan: rowan knows something's up - and, for some reason, still feels underlying feelings towards the other woman. charlotte doesn't know how to feel about rowan, perceiving her as a dead weight in her path for accomplishing her plans, but also extremely.. found of her? their feelings are complicated, but the romantic ones are (mostly) one-sided;

charlotte-william: mostly, respect. they don't interact a lot, but they recognize each other's acomplishments and works. they'd often get coffee break together and discuss about life. mostly, casual rants.

rowan-joseph: rowan feels resentment towards him for no reason at all. maybe it's a gut feeling. joseph feels indifferent, although a bit annoyed at bieler's constant glares.

rowan-william: they are pretty close friends. they often get happy hours together, smoke a bit (william isn't exactly into these stuff, but would smoke a cigarrette or two to relax the mind) and talk about life. they are close out of job too. william can see through rowan's facade everytime, and knows exactly why she 'dislikes' charlotte so much.

joseph-michael: joseph can't help but feel a slight bit of resentment towards michael for "taking his freedom away". wanting or not, the gigantic age gap can feel exhausting to the man, feeling more of a full-on parent rather than a legal guardian. he's not quite sure on how to take care of michael, and how to educate him, but does the best he can and was taught to. michael also feels a sense of resentment to joseph, since he grew up with his actual parents rather than his 'shitty' older brother.  despite everything, they love each other a lot, and are willing to do anything to get each other's back.

michael-rowan-william: non-existant. since charlotte KNOWS that they'll both know what's goin' on if they see the unindentified 'dead' boy walking on the streets as if he isn't supposed to be, well, dead.

Funfacts, curiosities

- actually, michael's full name was supposed to be Michael James Mecris - i created the characters before i got fully into my chemical romance, lol;

- joseph plays bass in his band. sometimes the drums when the drummer is sick;

- charlotte despises joseph's and ayane's musical taste, and prefers michael's way better. although she thinks he's trying too hard to be a 'cult kid';

- william's cologne smells like 'a fresh breeze of cool air, with notes of passionfruit and citric fruits';

- rowan has a hidden hability for mosh pits;

- besides blur and oasis, michael and joseph also discuss about courtney love and kurt cobain (take a shot of who is in whose side..)

- joseph hates corn;

- william hates sweet stuff - not everything, but super sweet stuff;

- ayane has a big, big cd collection, although she uses her hot pink ipod way more than the cds (sometimes, joseph borrows some of her cds, but they made a contract not to tell a soul as long as joseph keep buying monster to her);

- charlotte is actually deadily terrified of hamsters. yes, hamsters: "they are too small, and too fragile, and they look like they will spill their guts everywhere if i press them too hard";

- despite hating him, rowan and joseph's personality, in my opinion, is the one that matches the most out of all characters - maybe it's the fact that they both get geeked? maybe. but it's just my opinion as the creator;

- ayane would've loved iz*one, babymetal and ESPECIALLY red velvet;

- william would've loved tyler the creator and tame impala so much;

- charlotte the same with frank goatcean (same for william);

likes: makeup, cute clothes, music, her friends, killing;

dislikes: veggies, rodents, heels (only short ones like 3cm or so);
