today i wanted to yap abt oc lore !!

now, u might be wondering how do these subjects match-well they do.

story time !

one day i was playing berry ave, which is a rp game in rblx

i rly liked the zombie apocalypse rps in this game

nd in rp games, ocs are very common, right?

if ur not familiar with what r "ocs"

let me tell u

so basically an oc is a character u make

u give them details like a physical description,likings & preferences, nd maybe even a backstory

backstories are manely called lore

so we'll call em that

now.

if u connect the dots,

u might understand that this rant is about ppl giving their ocs a lore that contains grape as trauma

and i dont have problem with ppl giving their ocs trauma, thats totally ok

i have a problem with ppl putting as i said, s4, in their ocs lore just because

honestly i think its ok to give ur character a lore including s4 if u need it to be for educational purposes, like making writing a kid's book educating children gently abt how its not ok to touch somebody in a certain way without their permission.

thats totally ok !

i totally encourage it

BUT.

puttign s4 in ur oc's lore, and maybe EVEN multiple traumas "Just because" is actually very disturbing nd weird

ESPECIALLY. if ur romanticizing,fetishing or sexualising it.

thats SICK

its weird, its disturbing, its problematic

its NOT OK.

dont do that pls.

nd i think that everybody that has a piece of mind probably already knew that (i hope)

first of all thats such a bad way to spend ur free will.ew.

anyways, as i was saying-

there r MULTIPLE WAYS to make ur ocs lore more interesting without including s4 !!

as for example

1. making them child stars that then left the industry for a reason

2. making them foreign that left their mother country for another one for a reason

nd if u want the same effect, u can try giving them one of these !

1. with a good ending, making them have bad parents nd ur oc escaping them successfully and going to live with other people/another person

2. or-u can try making them actively trying to escape their toxic parents

3. not following the parents theme, maybe u can make them cancer fighters ! remember to express ur ideas correctly and respectfully. dont make it sound like ur mocking people with cancer.

thats such a good idea ! nd will give ur oc a more interesting persona as its not in their lore, but its actively happening in ur rps !
