Thoughts on the Silent Hill 2 remake

I recently finished the Silent Hill 2 remake. I loved it so much I decided to play it again right away. I hadn't played the original before, but I see why it got the reputation it has. And it deserves that reputation. I should go play the original at some point, but I've been doing a deep dive into Silent Hill recently and I think my obsession might be driving me kinda nuts lol. Maybe after I check out the original I can compare the two.
