Iāve been asked a lot to share my crystal collection, so here we are. Truthfully, this is more than just crystals. Itās my entire witchy journey so far.
When I first started exploring the craft, I dove headfirst into research. I wanted to learn everything: different cultures/religions of witchcraft, the history of it all, astrology vs astronomy, astral projection, sigils, meditation, tarot. You name it, I wanted to understand it. I poured myself into building my grimoire, studying every subject that caught my attention. Once I felt like I had the basics down, I started thinking about what tools and items I might need to truly practice.
Like many beginners, I turned to Etsy. I was on the hunt for ethically sourced materials and stumbled across a shop (sadly no longer around, otherwise I would definitely tag them). From there, my little starter kit grew and so did my excitement. That was the beginning of my crystal collection. Over time, as I experimented and learned more, I started gathering pieces that spoke to me. So these next 2 photos is a close up of most of my small crystals and my box from the first photo (it doesnt do it justice for how pretty it is).Ā
Small crystal list:
- Flower agate tower
- Rose quartz heart
- Marine chalcedony teardrop
- CarnelianĀ Ā
- A Pearl (its inside a fish necklace. Just never got a new chain for it)Ā
- Amethyst raven skull (not sure why it looks so pink on camera but whatever)Ā
- Moss agate scorpion (my favorite!)Ā
- Opal
- AmethystĀ
- Howlite sphereĀ
- LabradoriteĀ
- Smoky quartz
- *The green seashell and stars are just like glass aquarium decor for our fish tanks but they're pretty and wanted a few for myself
- Clear quartz sphereĀ
- Rhodonite sphereĀ
- Phantom quartz teardrop
- Carnelian heart
- Obsidian sphereĀ
- Rhodonite heartĀ
- Jade
- Labradorite
- *A random rock I found on a walk
- Rose quartz sphere
Once I was comfortable with crystals, I dipped into tarot. My first deck was The Prisma Visions Deck by James R. Eads, which is my absolute favorite. My second deck, Tales of the Mystical Cats by Lunaea Weatherstone and Mickie Mueller, was a thoughtful gift from my sister. Both are beautiful, but my heart always reaches for Prisma.
When I moved in with my husband, he was honestly a little (thats a lie, he was majorly) spooked by my box of crystals, but he still wanted to support me. He even bought me a shelf to display everything instead of keeping it hidden. Now my crystals sit proudly near our bed, along with a few new additions.Ā
These include:Ā
- Selenite wand
- *The white and black one is another mystery rock I found on a walk
- Amazonite tower
- Sodalite pyramid
- Amethyst pendulum
- Chiastolite necklace
- Obsidian pendulum

Every Christmas, my husband also gifts me a new crystal tree. These live in our living room and bring such good energy into the space. So far, I have a tigerās eye tree, an amethyst tree, and a chakra-based tree.
One of my newest additions came unexpectedly. My mother-in-law once ordered what she thought was a simple incense kit, but it turned out to be a huge chakra set. Since she was not interested in keeping it, she passed it along to me. One thing I have learned through my journey is that witchcraft does not have to be expensive or filled with special items. I have learned to use what I already have, such as crayons from the dollar store as candles, herbs from our spice cabinet/grocery store, or my garden, old receipts/cheap sticky notes for sigils, and whatever else feels right. Practical, simple, and effective. Intention is all that truly matters.Ā
Looking back, my collection represents more than just pretty stones. It is a timeline of my spiritual journey. I started this journey 5 years ago, and today I am still learning, still practicing, and still adding to my shelves. This is still just the beginning, and I will keep sharing as my path unfolds š¤āĖ.ą¼ā¾āāŗ
