Happy International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies, 7 September, 2025. 2025 Theme: "Racing for Air. Every Breath Matters". This theme emphasises the need to accelerate solutions and collective action from all parties to deliver clean air for all.

As you know, air pollution is the second leading risk factor for death, causing around 8.1 million premature deaths annually from conditions such as stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, and acute respiratory infections.  

Don't forget that clean air is a human right! Air pollution clearly violates the right to a healthy and sustainable environment. Everyone is responsible for protecting the atmosphere and to keep the air clean.
