Music is life.

Dude, like, whenever I listen to music, I just feel so…happy, I guess? I don’t know how to describe it, but its like I just feel so free and heard and seen, and I think, this is why I’m here right now, for music and my friends and my partner. And it really makes me appreciate life so much more, and just inspires me to create more than I consume. I’m going to a concert in a few days, and I’ve spent 2+ hours trying to decide what to wear. Like, I’ve seen them at least 10 times, but it just is such a good, comfortable environment. The lights, the ska-punk, the general vibe of the shows in general, it just feels like I can say something goofy, or skank (the dance, not fucking) in the pit and no one would mind, because at least twenty other people are just as free and goofy as I am in that moment, and honestly, if I didn’t have music, I’d probably go insane, because I just love it, so much, and it’s opened me up to new people, and brings me to a place where I can be myself without (usually) having to worry about people thinking I’m weird for screaming lyrics or dancing, or being happy. And I’m so stoked for the show, I’m seeing Catbite, with…uhhh…I think it’s Flying Raccoon Suit? I’m not sure. But, I’m so exited for it!
