Outside

I like sitting outside. When it isn't hot, bright, or if the air is filled with bugs. It feels hot and itchy. But other than that, I like it. I'm actually outside right now. It's cool, sprinkling rain, with a light breeze now and again. The porch was recently worked on, so now it's somewhat of a refuge from the chaos inside the house. Home is the one place I should be able to feel at ease in, but I don't. The only thing close to solitude I have is my room. Luckily, that's not the only place I can vent, although I used to have more options. Back around 2021 I got a 2015 Polaris Sportsman 450, and I took it on all the back roads in my town. I found an interesting landmark. It's an island in summer, when the lake rises, and connected to the shore by winter when it drains. I used to go there in fall and winter. I loved it. It was the only place where I could be isolated, and it was beautiful. There were rock cliffs where you could see the layers, a bridge with a train track on it, and eagles that frequent the area. I might still have some pictures. I miss that ATV too. My mom sold it so we could pay for moving to a place for 2 weeks then move back. A waste if you ask me. Anyway, it was really nice. Gave me something to do when I wanted to, and nothing to do when I didn't want to. It's looked down upon today, that choice is. Just having it. Doing things because you want to instead of because you have to. Who decides these things, anyway?

Welp I'm gonna quit writing this and go play Splatoon while I can stay out here. cya.
