I passed the practical exam! Yippee!!
What's left now before I can move on to job training is passing the theoretical and practical exam for the module I couldn't pass the first time. It's frustrating, but I'm much more determined now!
This last week's training also helped me understand some concepts I couldn't fully grasp during lessons, so it's been good for me. We've been going around on trains for what felt like a month, moving between Trento, Bozen, Venice, Verona and all the smaller stations around them; I have to say it's fun to see how every station works differently, both in regards of the trains moving in and out of them and the Trenitalia staff working in front and behind the scenes. It's a positive environment and I'm much more convinced I want to work here now.
I finally got my conductor uniform and it's so cool! It's a winter uniform so it's got a beanie for when it's too cold to wear the regular hat, a winter coat, shoes for the rain and a trolley bag for long distance trips which can also be used as a backpack! So I can bring my new Steam Deck and play on it while I wait for my train :3c
What I need now though is a better place to stay in: the living conditions I'm in right now are not the best and, since I have a good enough income, I could try and see if I can find some place I can live alone or with my boyfriend. Unfortunately, rent is really high in Venice and most people only rent to tourists or students, so my best bet is probably to buy a house outside of town and bring my car here.
In the meantime, I've been replaying the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney trilogy on Steam Deck. These games are soooo addictive, I can't wait to get to Apollo Justice which has always been my favorite.
Well I think it's enough rambling for now. I'll try to post at least once a week from now on, and if I don't have enough to say for a blog post maybe I'll just make a bulletin. 'Til next time!
P.S. Very cute furry stickers in the wild outside my hotel in Trento:

P.P.S. I rewatched Tron Legacy with my bf last weekend (it was his first time ever seeing a Tron movie), this movie is so cool I swear everyone should watch it
