Liking Something Without Declaring Yourself a Fan

Does anyone else catch themselves watching every episode of a show and tuning in every time a new episode comes out, but never outright declaring youself a fan? It could be for any reason, like not wanting to be associated with "those types of fans." You know the type. The super loud fans who make liking the show a part of their personality. Or the show already has a bad reputation, so you just watch the show in secret. Or maybe you're just not as into the show as others, so you don't give yourself the label. This has happened to me a few times:

Helluva Boss: I don't watch this show anymore because it has lost its plot and fallen off tremendously. But I was there day one. I loved season 1 and watched half of season 2 before dropping it. I was not as into the show as others when season 2 came around, so I didn't call myself a fan.

Hazbin Hotel: I was obsessed with the pilot in middle school. Now I watch it for reasons unknown to myself. I'm not a fan of most of the music, the plot and writing make me want to pull my hair out, and idgaf about any of the characters. Yet, I'm still gonna watch season 2. It's just something I can't take my eyes off of, whether I want to or not.

The Amazing Digital Circus: I actually like this show, but some of the fans are a little weird to me. Plus, I have unpopular opinions about the show while still enjoying it. For example, Pomni has no personality, yet she's the most popular character. I was about to rant about her for a while, but I deleted the wall of text to stay on topic. In the end, I like the show, but I don't sing its praises like other people.

My Hero Academia: Most people already know the fans of this show are crazy. I was just watching it out of curiosity to know what was so great about it. But like Helluva Boss, it started going in a direction I didn't care for, so I stopped watching. I never called myself a fan because fans be crazy.

There's probably more that I can't remember. I'm just curious if other people have similar experiences to me with the liking things without being a fan. Or if there are other reasons someone may have to avoid the fan title.
