Humans Strive For Dominance

As we approach 70 years until a new millennium, we’ve seen civilizations rise and falls since the start of history. People have come from dust, and from dust they shall return. Wrapping around the earth, growing and growing.

Mothers differing from their daughters, fathers differing from their sons. Cultures changing and developing, making us eventually the apex predator of the world, but one thing reminds constant for us, mere humans. But one constant is found in the equation of our lives, growth and overcoming.

As we approached 70 years until a new millennium, our developments have provided us longevity and happiness. As we begin to experience near immortality compared to the lives of the dead and old we see prosperity and over abundance. One may say that the progress of mankind is beautiful and expressive, but how many things have we crushed under our foothold as we progressed on? We may see progressive actions as a benefit, but how long can we go until the well of the Earth runs dry? And how will we proceed after loosing our perfect planet? Will this be the ending of our apex predator nature?
