Just text and the capsules (as Gemini sites are called) that make use of it, whether as blogs or as discussion forums. It's like a breath of fresh air to me.

The official site also gives a list of Gemini clients here if you'd like to explore Gemini space for yourself. I personally use Amfora at my terminal, because that's all you really need, but there are also graphical browsers and even a way to explore Gemini without even installing anything if all you wanna do is dip your toes in the water first.

Although Gemini is still obscure and niche, it's a lovely space on the internet. It feels friendly and quiet, like a small park. So if you're interested, please do check it out!
