All of Google's bullshit (so far)

A blog to keep track of what Google's pulling as of late. 

CRIMINAL RECORD:

1. Youtube Ai age restriction (For now, only in the US. There's a key word in that sentence. It's for now.)

2. AI "enhancement" on all YouTube shorts - Unannounced, unconsentual, and encompasses even the shorts uplaoded before this change.

3. Disallowing downloading of most, if not all, non-playstore apps, going global 2027 and being tested in certain countries in 2026. Depending on how exactly this works, it is the most rational of these changes from a company standpoint - but is still very user unfriendly.

4. A $45 million deal with Israel involving the displaying of Israel government propaganda on Youtube along with general Google advertisements.
