I abandoned reading the vampire lestat to read castle of otranto cs it seemed like a light read and it wouldnβt take much = not much commitment to the book.
I decided to read it bcs I saw it in some blog about goth literature and one thing about me it I LOVE GOTH LITERATURE.Β
I was seriously confused at the beginning because of the use of old English (bcs obviously English ainβt my first language) but after reading a bit I got the plot. The story happened to have so many plot twists which is cool, the events of the last chapter werenβt expected but I kinda hated the ending. The whole narration of the story felt straight to the point, no nonsense, no random descriptive paragraphs (but I kinda love when a writer gets caught up in describing something it helps me imagine it). RIP my boy Conrad, died in the first page.Β
I didnβt want to include any spoilers in this review, just my honest opinion.Β
(Might as well write another blog about Theodore cs he got rizz)
