I love "Twin Peaks". In such a little town people can be as weird as they are, not worrying about being replaced, like in a big town, where people can change and replace everything in seconds. In a little town you can just be yourself. Maybe the Internet made us treat people like a thing to buy and sell because subconsciously we know we can easily find someone else. In times of less network spread and places of less people population we treated friendships more mindfully.
