why tf is "pompous pep"

Not "wtf is pompous pep", WHY tf is "pompous pep". For anyone who had no clue, "Pompous Pep" is the ship name for Danny x Vlad... yeah... You read that right. The 40 year old man and the 14 year old boy. For some reason, this is a surprisingly popular ship (I've unfortunately met two people who were for it). But why??? Why is this monstrosity so popular? 

I mean, for starters, that's pedophilia straight up. It's not even just, "oh a big age gap!" ...no, it's pedophilia. If that's not enough to stop you, then take a look at the fact Vlad is seen as an "uncle" to Jazz and Danny. Even if those all weren't bold factors, Danny and Vlad are arch enemies. I couldn't see romantic tension between them if I looked under a microscope. 

So why do people ship this? Well, I think I have at least one reason. Remember how I mentioned about meeting someone who shipped this? They told me it was a way for them to deal with their own SA trauma. Which, I guess is fair? But still disgusting, and probably not the healthiest way of dealing with that. The other reason is just because some people are sicko proshippers who get off to shipping family members and minor x adult because, "they're just fictional characters!" Again, gross. If you claim to be a proshipper (I've also heard them be called "darkshippers"), then get out of here. I don't care if you ship Gray Ghost, Amethyst Ocean, or anything else that doesn't break several laws. Just don't ship pedophilia or incest, it's disgusting.
