Library AID geeked.

So, as a senior some of us have to aid teachers and staff, since we don't have a lot to look up to anymore but graduating. And I was the unfortunate one to get library aid. I don't deal with papers, nor substitute schedule checks. I help with school issued Chromebooks, fixing errors and returning broken ones or helping with passwords and such. The usual.

And one kid comes into the library, and he was ringing the desk bell like a MAD man. Like he needed something ASAP. So we get the librarian to go and help him. And as soon as she shows up at the desk and asks what he needs, he says this LOUD and PROUD.

"Erm, I was wondering if you could help me download vrchat on my Chromebook."

He wanted to bypass the admin block to play vrchat. And there's like other people in this library. and he says that? and he has the voice of a horrid sweaty discord mod, so me and the other two aids who are watching from afar start CHOKING. Holding back actual deadly laughter. Because who in the WORLD comes in and asks a librarian to play vrchat on the school Chromebook?

He wants to play it so bad, she had to call the office and ask them if its possible for him to download it on the Chromebook. then proceeds to send screenshots to the admin to see if they can unblock vrchat for him, and we hear her say:

"hey, uh, this kid wants to download 'vrchat', is it possible for him to do that?" and "Hey again, I sent you a screenshot of his screen in your email about this vrchat".

And he just starts rambling on about how he wants it NOW. then plans on bringing his headset to play it? like phones aren't illegal in Texas. 

 And again, he's saying this stuff like NO ONE is around, when there is about 8-10 people in the library hearing him, and kids coming in and out needing actual help with Chromebooks. While this kid is now sitting behind her desk, hunched over his Chromebook trying to access his precious vrchat like its his lifeline.

He's been here for half of the period, hasn't left, nor moved. angrily waiting. TALKING about what he does on vrchat to a brand new teacher, who hasn't been here for a year yet. Griping about how it wont let him log in due to admin restrictions, because its a SCHOOL CHROMEBOOK. FOR SCHOOL WORK, NOT VRCHAT.

This is absurd, please don't come asking the staff to unblock vrchat so you can do whatever horrid things you do on there during school hours. Keep that stuff at home.
