Heyyy, how yall doing

So I saw someone in here doing a post like this, and u know what?? fuck it, i've always said I should start journaling but i didnt like talking to myself, so why not do it in the place i can be the cringiest without any care in the world? And who knows, maybe one day I'll get famous and I have like this proof of my past lololol

Anywayys, y'all I'm so excited, but also kinda nervous. For those who don't know (everyone rofl), I'm currently studying my first year of Audiovisual Arts, and for the first semester I had a class of Screenwriting in which we each had to write a screenplay for a 5-minutes-or-so short film, and between all of the screenplays, a few were gonna be selected to actually produce as the final project of another one of my classes, and y'all won't guess what... MINE WAS SELECTED!!!! It's insane, I kinda still can't believe it, there were only 7 selected, and MINE was one of those.

One part of me is extremely happy, of course, but idk, another part of me is nervous about it... When so much time of your life is wasted trying to fit in and caring about what others think about u, doing what you have in mind just doesn't come as naturally as it is for others. I'm still gonna direct the shit out of this, one has to take all the opportunities you can get, but damn, you know 100% I'm gonna do that shit while shitting my pants in my mind.

But enough catching up. Today is technically September 3rd already cause it's 1:42AM, but idgaf, this is for September 2nd. It was nice, pretty calm. I really enjoy living alone, I don't understand those who don't like it. I'm sorry to my family, but I don't miss living with them tbh, I still love them, but moving out kinda felt like a weight off my shoulders. 

I watched three films today. In the morning, in Film History class, we watched Bicycle Thieves (1948, 4.5 stars imo), which was a rewatch for me because I literally watched it for the first time yesterday lmaoo. Then in the afternoon I watched Thirteen (2003), which I LOVED IT, gave it 5 stars, either you get it or you don't. And finally, I just watched Didi (2024), which I found to be fantastic, really got me feeling nostalgic about high-school, gave it 4.5 stars.

Tomorrow (today xd) I'm gonna meet with a group of friends and prepare to play DnD for the first time, which I'm really excited to try. 

Tonight is one of those nights were I feel hopeful about the future, it's been a nice day.
