It took thousands of years to develop opposable thumbs but just a second for me to destroy them.
Basically, as i was putting the knifes away, the cover of the SHARPEST ONE decides to fall, so, i close my hand around the knife to try to stop the cover, but it was too late. I press my thumb (exactly where it bends too) against the blade.
It took almost 2 hours to stop bleeding, i can't use my hand fully because i can't bend my thumb, it looks like a little piece is missing and, as i was trying to put some nutella on a slice of toast it FRICKING FELL ON THE WOUND and it hurt so much, it hurt even more to clean it.
What tf was i thinking in the first place while trying to catch the cover. Stupidest way to loose one of the primary functions of humans, 2 days before school.
Don't kniw if somebody will find this interesting.

Hey man are you okay?
I hope your thumb gets better. You reminded me of smth happened to me before, not exactly the same, but I had a door slammed shut on my index finger it broke my nail straight from the middle and after a few days my intire nail fell off 🙏🏼🙏🏼
