a ramble on moshpit etiquette

So Outta Pocket was great, it was a good show in regards to the bands and the quality of the music. Love hardcore as always. Unfortunately, my area is full of ppl with no mosh etiquette. i'll say it's not everybody but most of the ppl my age or under are super ignorant and just wanna get a quick video for instagram.

some pointers i have for moshing (im no expert but pls):

1) if you are stage diving, know where is a good spot to dive. if i am the first person in the front row, ur not supposed to jump on my head. jump into the crowd of people toward the front, not on the person in front of you. i got a concussion btw.

2) if you are near the front, please try to help the stage divers. i saw a ton of people get dropped because a bunch of skinny tiktok girls were oblivious to what was going on. if ur not willing to at least put your hands up then get in the back.  

3) so crowdkilling is a thing and idc tbh but if you're gonna go for someone's face, and intentionally punch or kick them several times in a row. thats not moshing. youre being a pos. especially if they are smaller than you. also saw some minors pick fights on grown adults and thats just ridiculous. 

the scene sux when no one preserves the etiquette and respect. the scene is ABOUT respect and overcoming common issues. its not for you to individually act on your aggressions and disrespect everyone around you.
