You ever notice how, after a long stretch of bad days, the moment things actually start going right, it feels weird ? Like you almost don’t trust it. You wake up on time, your day flows smoothly, people are nicer, even the weather seems to be on your side, and instead of just enjoying it, your brain goes: “Hold on, what’s going on here ?”
I think it’s because when we’re so used to struggles, peace feels unfamiliar. We almost forget what it’s like to have things fall into place. And the first reaction is suspicion, not comfort
But maybe that’s the funny part about life, it’s not always out to get us. Sometimes the universe really does line things up in our favor. And maybe instead of overthinking it, we should just lean back and let it be good for once
Because if we keep asking “why is everything going right?”, we might miss out on the simple joy of the fact that it is

totally! sometimes overthinking things makes u lose focus so if things in my life are going right i just thank God it's all doing okay without pondering why WHY why this is wrong

I think it’s less that peace feels unfamiliar, and more that it feels fragile.
Like the 2nd you acknowledge it, it’ll vanish.
I don’t know if the universe ever “lines things up.” That sounds 2 deliberate (2 me) 4 what life usually is. But I do know the body gets tired of flinching at shadows. And maybe suspicion can exist alongside the good- maybe you don’t have to kill it off completely to enjoy what’s in front of you.
You just carry both.
That's my take @least =3

The feeling you described reminds me how it can feel when having a fight with someone and neither side forgives each other so you eventually act like it didn't happen.
