TADC Rant

I so badly wanted to make a rant post about like “funnybunny is not and never will be canon and here’s why” and I thought this platform might work idk. If you want to ship them then I ain’t got a problem, and id love to hear your perspective on this.

 On one side we have Jax, who for the first three episodes he was just “the funny one” as he likes to call himself. In other words, the asshole. 

On the third one, at the start, he started seeing what she was, what she could or couldn’t do, after seeing that she accompanied the other guys to Kaufmos funeral. 

On the fourth episode, when he went to talk to pomni, he was just too tired to keep his “funny” facade on, and since she had been chill that episode, he thought “maybe can i talk to her”. He wants to start testing the waters, seeing what she’s made of and how she reacts. 

On the fifth episode is when he decides “alright, i need to box her into an archetype, because that makes it easier for me to cope” so he does the president adventure, he opens just a bit to her about ragatha, he asks her about her life and hobbies, he tries to find out what she does, so he can place her into some archetype and treat her as such. Since he doesn’t find a lot more, he decides to spend time with her after the adventure. 

On the sixth episode, he is interested because she approaches him to be teammates, and doesn’t seem scared of him. They start talking, and he starts thinking “darn she’s cool, I can’t be her friend because she will abstract because of me” (probably what happened to ribbit). 

So when she hugs him for winning, he pushes her away, and in all the next sequence, the fight sequence, he thinks he has her into one archetype, but she proves him wrong again and again. The backstabber, she doesn’t want to shoot him. The lovers interest, she doesn’t mean that that way, the suicidal one, she doesn’t shoot herself with the gun (we all thought that would happen). He is frustrated because she doesn’t fit, and that makes her not an npc with whom he can mess with. So he takes it out on her, trying to convince her they are not humans anymore, and that he is the “funny one” and nothing else, but he fails. And that bothers him so much, that he

A) couldn’t push her away (he’s afraid that she’ll abstract like Ribbit, and take the blame upon himself)

B) couldn’t box her

That he panics, he thinks “what the hell” 

But he doesn’t want to overthink things because he knows he can abstract because of it, so he puts his “funny” mask back on and ignores her.

On pomni’s side, the first three episode she’s just like “ok, jerk”. On the fourth one, she’s like “that was weird, why did he approach me like that”.

On the fifth episode, it’s divided into three parts. The “why the heck is he doing this (first two)”, “ok he’s not a complete asshole” and “he’s kinda funny, i might talk to him”. 

She starts thinking he’ll open up to her on the sixth episode, and she thinks that he might even want to be her friend. But when he turns her down, she’s confused, because they were fine and suddenly they were not. She is the kind of person who wants to know what is going on in that moment, so she digs deeper. He starts being meaner, and she doesn’t know what to think, but she wants to help him, she actually cares, but since she doesn’t know the whole story she also says hurtful things and pushes him beyond his limits, so he snaps at her and leaves. She is weirded out, so she decides to leave it there, but she’s still concerned at the end, because she sees that he is hiding something that’s hurting him

Of course, there is merch of them both or whatever, but I believe that’s because Glitch knows fans will ship them and they want to make money, so they decide to make stuff for people to spend their money on.

Idk, this is what I think. I’d love to read your opinion/theories! :D
