Manga I LOVE but no one talks about :(

This is totally just me screaming about Manga that literally no one and their moms ever talk about or seem to know. this is also just me throwing out recommendations because ppl need to show things guys some love!

also feel free to share your own recomendations because i love reading new manga!

#1 ~ A Man and His Cat
          a man and his cat is so cute! its about a man and his cat (obviusly) and their life together. the art is so super cute and the story knows how to pull at your heart strigs in just the right way where its sad but not depressing while also being a good light hearted slice of life tha makes you happy when the characters acheve their little goals. its a cute manga with 14 volumes and counting.

#2 ~ I am a Cat Barista
          I am a cat barista is a kinda episodic manga that takes place in a cafe. basicly the cafe can only be found by people who are having a hard time and just need a little bit of encoragement. the cafe is run by an antho Cat named Hachi, its nice reading about the ways Hachi boosts people's confidents. its can touch on some deep topics like child neglact, abandonment, and selfconfidence problems, but it doesn't feel overwhelming. the artstyle is really cute and easy on the eyes, the way the mangaka draws cats is especialy cute! the food also looks really tasty, but thats a given since every chapter has Hachi making a specialty item for his costomers. its overall a really sweet manga, even with only two volumes at the moment.

#3 ~ Monotone Blue
          Monotone blue is a BL featuring antho animals. the story follows the caracters Hachi the cat (a different cat from ICB) and Aoi the lizard and their relationship as close friends. it touches on self confidence problems and SA. the interactions between Hachi and Aoi are cute and show how close they become through out the manga, even when they go though a kinda big argument. its a pretty silly story that knows how to shift into its darker aspects smoothly. tone shifts dont feel out of no where, youre not going from something really deep to silly joke every second, it knows how to sit on its tone. the art is also really nice, the expressions especially feel very lively. 

#4 ~ Stigmata: love bites
          Stigmata is a smut BL about an officer named Asako who has the ability to reach the residual thoughts of murder victims, going through their final moments and carrying their wounds until the perpetrator is caught. he works as part of a special investigations unit, using his ability to help aid in said investigations. however when the leading officer of the unit finds out his ex wife was murdered he drags Asako to the crime scene and makes him relive the scene, only to drag him out of the death in the middle of it. because he was interupted during his "death" his conection to his bosses late ex wife is more than just a simple wound, and he starts to mistake her emotions for his own. the art has a distinct look to it without looking too odd, its quite beautiful. The premise of the story is also really cool and unique, going through 2 volumes. however if you arent a big fan of BL or Smut there is also a kind of prequel that only focuses on the investigations that can be read on manga dex.

#5 ~ Meshinuma
          I love meshinuma. Its about an office worker named Iinuma who loves to eat, and every chapter is about him eating yummy food! ill admit that this manga got popular a few years back for the WRONG reason. basiclly people on tiktok were saying that this manga was about Iinuma getting off on eating food like a food wars kind of thing but thats far from the truth! while some of the facial expressions can kinda give off that vibe there is no indication that its the case. really the manga is just about him going around throughout his daily life eating food. talking about the food, the food is drawn so beautifully that even i catch myself getting hungry. each chapter has something new and its always so fun watching Iinuma trying new foods. sadly it doesnt have an offcial en translation.
