Pop Bubbles by Bolis

Pop Bubbles

I do not know why you do not want me. I have proven myself to you that I would do more good than bad to you. In fact, I would never do anything bad. Then again, not everyone is perfect.  As I am outside with my bottle of bubbles and I am blowing them onto the air. I see the bubbles and they remind me of you. I saw this one bubble and I tried to catch it but it escaped the reach of my hands and disappeared on its own. The same way I could not make you mine and disappeared on your own. Along with the fact I stopped blowing bubbles and put my bottle down because I only wanted you.

This poem was written on August 10, 2020. The inspiration did indeed come to me while I was trying to pop bubbles. There is a lot of figurative language here. Let me know your thoughts on this poem.
