had lunch with my friend today

as the title says, i had lunch with my friend today, pretty simple,, but it was pretty special to me.

id been too anxious to leave the house lately due to stress so id missed quite a bit of school, and also just a bunch of other things,, but today my friend decided to come out to my house and see how i was doing, she got here around 2pm and she brought some sushi for us to have for lunch and also some creme brulee that her mum had made for us as a desert,, it was all super nice.

when she first got here, i gave a mini tour of the place bc it was the first time she'd been to my house, then we sat in my room and caught up a bit bc this was actually the first time id seen her in nearly 2 months bc she was away on holidays and i hadnt seen her since she got back from that,, then after a bit of catching up we decided to leave the house and go have our lunch outside somewhere since it was a clear, sunny day,, and we ended up going up and sitting on the hill by my house that overlooks the ocean (bc yknow, it pretty beneficial to have a hill you go sit and ponder on) the hills a pretty good spot since nobody else is really going up there.

we sat on the grass, eating our sushi (it was spicy prawn with cucumber sushi btw incase you care that much) and just continued our conversation on catching up, talking about how schools been atm, and about school for next year, popular topics going around on social media rn, new music and old, relationships,, yknow, just whatever stuff teenagers typically talk about. as we were finishing up on our sushi and continueing to chat, we kept hearing rustling from the bushes behind us, the first few times we heard it we both ignored it bc we thought we were just hearing things like the wind or something, but it kept getting louder and more obvious until it got to the point where we both turned around at the same time once we heard it again,, which at that point we realised we were both hearing the same thing lol,,, i stood up and stepped into the bush to investigate, see if i could figure out what it was,, and once i stepped closer to the source of the sound, i did see the bushes move as something ran away from me a little bit, but it didnt disappear it kinda just stood back from me or something,, i didnt get a look at whatever it was so at that point we were like "whatever, just some animal" so we left and walked back to my house.

we wouldve eaten the creme brulee while we were there but we forgot to bring spoons with us so we had to go back home for them, and just ended up sitting on my bed and eating lol,, the creme brulee was amazing, it was my first time trying it and i kinda wish i had eaten more of it but i dont tend to have the hugest appetite so i dont eat much in general,, anyways after we were done with our desert, we walked down to the shop to grab some drinks and then we went and sat down by the river at the waters edge continuing to chat, we mostly stayed on the topic of music.

the sun was setting by this point and reflecting colours of pinks and oranges on the water so it was literally perfect for a scene in a teen romance movie where the main characters kiss,, but we dont do that shit so ofc we were being fucking dumbass' lmao. it was a pretty great afternoon, and as the sun dipped behind the mountains and the street lights were turning on we walked back to my house and i set up some sonic for us to play on the tv while we waited for her mum to come pick her up. 

and thats basically it, so now im sitting here at my desk typing all this out and my back hurts. im probably gonna go to school tomorrow idk
