Original XP on 16 MB of RAM, and a 24 MB page file
For those who don't know, a page file is a file the operating system can use as memory when it runs out of RAM. It's (pretty much) the same thing than swapping on Linux.
15 MB of RAM works too. Less crashes the system.
XP SP3 on 18 MB of RAM
16 MB throws a blue screen before even showing the boot screen, 17 MB throws one AFTER the boot screen xD
