Hi everyone!
Oh wow it's already been two months since my last life update. Time flies, I guess.
Anyways, lots of stuff happened during this time: I finally finished my theoretical course and started the practical training, for which I finally got to do stuff on trains. Our practical exam will be next week and I really hope I'll pass.
My first exam didn't exactly go as well as I hoped: I failed one out of three modules, which means that I'm still onboard, but I'll have to take an additional exam and pass it, otherwise I won't get my abilitation and I'll be fired. It also means I won't get a second chance for my practical exam, so if I don't pass that either next week... you can guess what happens.
I have to say, I feel a little less optimistic now: I still think that it's more likely I'll pass than not, but this uncertainty is making me have some doubts about my future in the company. Will I be a good conductor? Am I prepared enough to work on trains? What if I end up in a situation that I won't be able to handle?
But right now, I need to focus on what's ahead of me. Once I pass these two exams, I'll get my abilitation and it'll be smooth sailing from there.
I'll keep you updated, and hopefully next time I'll have some better news. See ya!
P.S. I also bought a Steam Deck from a colleague and started gaming again. This thing is amazing!
