Hi gang! So ya know how I'm an indica guy all the way? That's usually all I buy, I like to be mellow, and sativa is supposed to energize you.
Well, I was thinking, how long has it really been since you've tried any sativa? Prolly years, at least. So today I picked up a blunt of a sativa strain called Gelonade. It was on sale, kind of an impulse buy. And I was thinking about my trip to Colorado back in 2020. I remember liking a strain called Durbans Poison, a definite sativa.
So what the heck, why not? :D
Since I just got a blunt of it I can't tell you about the buds, but the smell is wonderful, like a sweet fruit. It's ground finer than they usually do for their blunts, wonder why? Color is your usual brown/green. Since I'm not a blunt kinda guy I loaded it into a LMP* as per usual. All right, here we go!
Taste is a little citrusy, like a lemon-ish aftertaste in a good way. It's more of a creeper, seems like. no wait, here it comes... Hmm! I'm getting a nice body buzz, but it's like my brain is trying to figure this new stuff out.
Okay, took another hit and here comes the head rush! Nice! I don't feel a rush of energy or a sudden urge to clean the garage, that's a good thing. XD Seems like a decent high, I'm liking it more as it comes on more. Feels like this is going to be a happy high! :D
Cool beans! Think I can give this one two big ol' thumbs up! Going to add this to my strain rotation for sure!
Oh, and speaking of strains... there's a new one out that I'm really excited to try, that'll be the next 420 Report! :D

I'm a big sativa fan. Indicas are great for sleep, but otherwise they're too heavy and you get trapped in the couch lol. It seems to me like sativas are less like an energy boost thing and more like a less paralyzing thing compared to indicas. I can do things on sativa easier than indica.
Turns out I like at least one sativa, yay!

last time i tried a sativa strain i ended up dusting all my shelves cleaned my room and got new rugs and bedsheets and overhauled it XD my room needed a deep clean like that tho so honestly i keep some around in case i need a motivator to clean
I'm liking this stuff, and if it's energizing anything it's my brain :)

My current fav at my local place is an Indica dominant turpentine infused strain called Sour Mango. Tastes so good and gives you a super mellow buzz!
Wow, I looked up online and they are saying that it is Sativa dominant. (70/30)
