Editing software hates me

I'm trying out youtube- and actually wanting to post vids, the software I was originaly using only lets you do 1 min long vids- I have a speed paint I want to upload that is over 16 min long, sobbing. I edited it all, voiced it over added music and text. but no it hates me.
