Im very interested in art history and want to know more about it (specifically around 1700s - 1800s era). What are some good / influential artist of that time period i could look into ?? Personal more interested in actual meaningful art pieces then someone whos work is famous because of their legacy and not the work itself

i wrote a comparative study for my art class including the artist suzanne valadon. She is like mid 1800s i think? Post-impressionist. I think she's cool because she was in the art scene when there weren't very many women. She would depict women a lot more realistically or naturally than other French painters of the time in my opinion. A feminist artist !
