I Feel Like I’m Fading from My Own Life

And I have no idea what to do about it

The universe looks on in disinterest 

As I struggle

Not to lose myself

I stretch a hand up

Reaching

For someone I’ll never meet

I grasp the cosmos

And the universe holds my hand gently

My mind

Unravels

My sanity being

Pulled

By a vacuum

I weep at the universe;

It pulls me apart

There is no sympathy.
