I've written a lot of AUs and Original stories... I'm currently writing about 5 to 10... I just write what comes in my head...

I wouldn't say I've written a book per se, but I do write a lot and my advice is that if you have many ideas, you are allowed to write all of them and decide which you like best later. If you have no ideas at all, you could take some ideas from books or movies that you like (not plagerism, but inspiration) or find some other ways to promt you creativity - I used my tarot cards to come up with a scene for one of my own stories, they're quite versatile lol
