birthdays, komorebi and more

man oh man, i miss using spacehey, 
i feel like it was my haven for all of 3 months... and then it got taken away with the UK ban :`(

anyway, here's whats happening

I celebrated my birthday in early August, and let’s just say; your frontal lobe definitely starts acting different when you hit your mid-twenties. There’s been this sudden shift in me, like I suddenly feel more grounded, more... grown-up, somehow. It’s strange, not in a bad way, just unfamiliar. Maybe it’s a spark that won’t last, or maybe I’m just in a good place right now, loving life and noticing things I used to overlook. Or maybe this is what growing into yourself feels like - random, and a little surreal.

The 2000s are making a come-back, with a lot of people cancelling their spotify and moving to a physical mp3 player...which I too have participated in AND I LOVE IT!!! 

So I bought myself an Ipod Mini (second hand) and customized it with stickers ★🧸

I've always been a fan of physical media, its the best XD 

I stumbled across the word komorebi - a Japanese term that captures the delicate, dappled light of the sun filtering through leaves. It stopped me for a moment, because I’ve always loved that quiet kind of magic - the way sunlight dances through the trees, soft and golden, as if nature is breathing light. I never knew there was a name for it, just that it made me feel calm and a little more alive. Now that I do, it feels like I’ve been handed a word for something my heart has always known and i love it. ** i saw someone say "anyone saying that komorebi is just a shadow needs more whimsy in their life" **

I’ve been loving the show Wednesday. It’s honestly so good, I have no idea why I wasn’t on that shizzle sooner tbh. I totally get the hype now, and I’m fully obsessed. I seriously cannot wait for Season 2 Part 2 to drop in September, eeeek!

My love for Andy Samberg/b99, and David Duchovny/thexfiles is still strong and I can't wait to edit txf more in the autumn time for the ⊹ whimsical vibes ⊹ 

I'm also going to the cinema on Friday to watch the roses, because andy samberg is in it <3
