The Familiar: Book Review

The Familiar by Leigh Bardugo

An overall good story with pretty good writing that gets bogged down a bit by being yet another, "young adults in a competition" story. There is so much more to this world that can be explored without following a common trope. I liked the characters though it could be hard to tell who was the current POV at times, but easy enough to catch up with context clues.
