SpaceHey has a bot problem.

I just wanted to share something I noticed that might be helpful for SpaceHey. It seems like there have been more bots and automated signups lately. While looking into it, I realized that it’s currently pretty easy to set up a bot on the platform.

The main issue seems to be with the anti-bot captcha. it’s not very strong and can be bypassed using structural similarity checks. When I tested it, I was able to create a number of accounts without them being flagged or removed.

I don’t mean this as criticism at all. I really love SpaceHey and deeply respect what’s been built here, especially since it’s such a unique project run out of the dev’s own pocket (plus some small donations).

If it’s helpful, I’d be more than happy to lend a hand. For example, I could help develop a stronger captcha system for the site, and I’d be glad to do it for free.
