April's Love Affair ̸/̸̅̅ ̆̅ ̅̅ ̅̅
Early 2000's post-hardcore/screamo band
2 EPs: April's Love Affair (2004) & The Manner In Which I Scream Goodbye (2005)
Descriptions from other websites:
"The addition of guitarist Spencer Bailey (20) was no accident. Having been in previous bands with three of the four members, Bailey was a natural and familiar choice to the band.
Jason Campisi (bass) decided it was his time to persue other personal intrests, where then Joel Reynolds picked up and gave the band a whole new look and style."
"Hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, April's Love Affair quickly made a name for themselves in the early 2000s. Originally consisting of Ryan Veuthey (vocals), Will Hughes (drums), Spencer Bailey (guitar), Chris Kichler (guitar/vocals), and Jason Campisi (bass), the band honed their post hardcore/screamo sound from an eclectic variety of influences. Joel Reynolds, later replacing an open spot on bass, brought a new perspective to the writing process which helped create the songs that would become The Manner in Which I Scream Goodbye."
There was a reunion in 2011 6 August."

The band is starting to gain more popularity from music being shared through TikTok, which lead to the band's Instagram and Ryan's Instagram to begin posting more. The influx of listeners also lead to Daydream Records releasing multiple vinyl variants for their EP "The Manner In Which I Scream Goodbye". 4/5 of the variants are still available at https://www.daydreamrecordsofficial.com/store! I personally have ordered the Smash variant but am considering ordering the Pokeball signed version as well ^_^. The mystery "fancy" variant is the only one sold out as of now.
The description of the Pokeball variant, "...will include band signatures and extra goodies with the proceeds going directly to the band for future endeavors." bodes well!
Daydream Records has also teased CD releases for the EP.
A month or two ago, the EP was taken off of every streaming platform, to the dismay of fans. But it was quickly resolved, the music now being put back up on streaming services by the actual band rather than by a questionable third party.

The band is still in contact with each other, and with the new vinyl pressings, the activeness of the two Instagram accounts, the label's teasing, and the steady increase in streams and new listeners, all signs are leading to the long awaited recognition of this underappreciated 2000's indie band.
