hi all! this morning at work, where i was admittedly slacking off and crocheting, i listened to this double-album in full. i gotta say, this might be my go-to for study or project sessions! i am rarely able to count my stitches when i listen to music, but this album was a beautiful exception.
this album is primarily ambient with electronic themes and minimal (almost mumbly) futuristic dialogue. it reminds me of a pixely 2d sci-fi videogame. mysticwolf75 on bandcamp described the structure of this album well: "it seems to be split so part one is more ambient, and part 2 is more sequencer driven."
i personally preferred part 2, but i love how part 1 begins with the water planets theme! regardless of my preferences, i thought this entire double-album blended seamlessly. its calming albeit doomy mood makes it great for when you need to keep a level head and unwavering concentration. i'd personally recommend this to sci-fi fans, ambient lo-fi enthusiasts, and frankly, the average busy bee who could use some calming hums.
this album is available on bandcamp and can be downloaded for free. i can't tell you if the downloaded version has metadata, so keep this in mind as you add this to your library. i plan on donating to support this artist before i download and i hope you do too!
