My thoughts on Religion/Spirituality (possibly controversial..?)

So MY (you dont have to agree!!) personal viewpoint on most religion/spiritual beliefs is that, well, it was created before much had an explanation, and having your own personal ideas and beliefs meant death or being shunned from society. It’s VERYY possible for it to have been created on the lack of science, and the need for a reasoning without the Research. 

I feel another reason could be for control, honestly. Control that would both control women and the modern populous for thousands of years to come, twisting humanity into their own little game, without even realizing it themselves. Religion has caused many harmful things in society to day. Ex;

Caused Racism, slavery, and stealing land across the world like- “if it ain’t white, it ain’t right”
Ruined peoples perception of what is good or bad, controlling the population to conform to these things with a fear factor, aka; not wanting to go to hell.
