Gloomy bear

So I feel conflicted about the character Gloomy bear. Basically its a show about this guy pitty and his pet bear, Gloomy. The episodes are basically just Gloomy beating pitty up, until the last episode where im pretty sure it was implied Pitty died. On one hand, its shown that Gloomy does love Pitty, and if its just his bear instincts making him hurt Pitty I can sympathyse with that. On the other hand its possible Pitty just wants a happy relationship with Gloomy and Gloomy just beats him up to the point of killing him. Pitty didn't deserve to die. I know the show is mostly comedy, youre not supposed to see it as that serious. On another hand, if my first interpretation of Gloomy is true, he is a very relatable character.ni think a lot of us can relate to an urge for violence even if your morals stop you.
