Trip to Epirus!

I've gone on a few little trips this and last year, most recent was last week when I went with my mother and step-father on a roadtrip to Epirus! It wasn't particularly exciting, maybe even a tad lame because we didn't really do a lot and my mother and step-father kept getting us lost because they cannot read a damn map, but! I did get to see a lot of pretty sights, which is my favourite thing about trips, getting a change in environment.

Anyhow, won't bother much more with words, here's some pictures.

On the way there :D I love roadtrips so much, the ride is one of the best things about travelling anywhere.

We passed by Kalampaka on the drive and it was so cool to see in real life!! I unfortunately couldn't take any good pictures, we didn't stop there so this is probably the best I could do from inside the car. But even if I could go and take pictures from up close you really cannot capture such a sight through a picture, one of those many things you just have to see for yourself, like many of the mountains also. There were so many cool mountains that I could not get good photos of purely because the photos cannot quite capture them properly.

Stopped at a village at some point to stretch a big after sitting in the car for maybe 3 hours at that point? Still had a long way to go. Cannot recall the name of this town for the life of me but the mountains around were very pretty.

While we were there we could hear really loud thundering in the distance, started raining soon after we got back in the car. Unfortunately I had decided to take a nap in the car at that point and slept through the rain, how sad.

And now for the cooler stuff :]

This is the river Acherontas! It was so awesome to see up close :0 The waters were so clear and blue, more than the picture shows. And it was also really, really cold, of course. We would've gone insane but unfortunately that day we went there I was feeling very unwell and decided not to go inside even on a little boat. Wish I had but oh well :/

Here's some more pics of it.

Didn't take any better pics, wasn't really focused on taking many pictures during the whole trip.

A very pretty flower :D

We also went to some really nice beaches but I didn't take many pictures there either.

Here's one. The waters were very clean like the river and they were extremely salty, my skin felt really weird after going in there @_@ not a nice feeling but the waters were cool and overall it was awesome.

Most of the beaches were full of pebbles unlike the sandy beaches we have here where I live. Made this little stack for fun because why not :P

Then came the time to go home again, but we stopped at Ioannina on the way back.

The clouds were doing weird stuff while we were driving there. Was kinda cool.

At Ioannina!! This is a photo of the lake Pamvotida. This was my second visit to Ioannina, this time got a better look throughout the city although I did not go to Iç Kale this time around. I've got some photos of the old city from my previous visit which I might post on another blog.

Another pretty flower :0

It was really nice at Ioannina, one thing that really stood out to me though was the sheer number if anti-israel and KKE shit plastered all around (KKE = Communist Party of Greece). There were a lot of KKE posters and flags and I saw a lot of Palestine flags also. There were posters calling all Israeli soldiers war criminals and murders and rapists. I was not expecting to see this type of stuff so common around there, place was really full of commies.

Extra!! A cute kitty that was begging for my chicken curry.

I might add some more pics in the future, we'll see
